What is the Senegal BSC Certificate?
Any shipment heading to Senegal, whether to Dakar, Freetown, or another port, requires a valid BSC certificate. Senegal Customs Officials established this requirement as law in 2008. Shipments without the certificate will be fined by the destination port.
Certificate Requirements
The following documents are necessary for obtaining a Senegal BSC certificate:
- Bill of Lading (A draft copy can be used for application, but the original is required for validation)
- Commercial Invoice
- Freight Invoice (Not required if the freight value is included in the commercial invoice)
To begin the certification process, send PDF versions of the required documents to info@ectnindia.com. Hard copies are not needed for BSC certification. Please ensure that you send final documents without needing revisions, as penalties will apply for any changes after validation.
