Niger BSC Certificate

Shipping goods to Niger? Be aware that a mandatory loading document, the Bordereau de Suivi des Cargaisons (BSC), also known as the Cargo Tracking Note (CTN), is required for all shipments. Failing to provide this document can lead to severe consequences, including fines. Avoid risking double charges (certificate cost plus regulation fees) by ensuring that your shipments are compliant with BSC requirements.

The Niger BSC certificate must be submitted for all shipments destined for Niger, as mandated by the Decree N° 2013-465/PRN/MT, published on November 15, 2013. BESC stands for “Bordereau électronique de Suivi de Cargaison,” also known as the Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN).

To obtain the Niger BSC certificate, the following documents are required:

    • Bill of Lading (Draft copy can be used for application)
    • Commercial Invoice
    • Freight Invoice (Not required if freight value is included in the commercial invoice)
    • Customs Declaration

To begin the certification process, send PDF versions of the required documents to info@ectnindia.com. Hard copies are not needed for the BSC certificate issuance. Ensure you send the final, error-free documents as revisions will incur additional fees after validation.
