What is the Yemen ACD Certificate?
As of January 1st, 2025, the Yemeni Ministry of Transport has mandated the ACD procedure for all shipments heading to Yemen ports. The ACD is also known as a CTN, BSC, or BESC. Failure to provide the ACD certificate will result in severe consequences and substantial costs. The ACD must be obtained from the port of loading by shippers, exporters, or freight forwarders. The ACD number must also be listed on the bill of lading.
Certificate Requirements
To obtain the Yemen ACD certificate, the following documents are required:
- Bill of Lading
- Commercial Invoice
- Freight Invoice
To begin the certification process, send PDF versions of the required documents to info@ectnindia.com. Hard copies are not required for ACD certification. Ensure you submit final documents that do not require revisions, as penalties will apply for changes after validation.
