Yemen ACD Certificate

The Yemen ACD (Advanced Cargo Declaration) certificate is a mandatory loading document for all shipments to Yemeni ports. If shipments arrive without an ACD or contain incorrect information, they may face double the certification charges. Avoid delays, fines, and complications—ensure you have a valid ACD certificate for all shipments to Yemen.

As of January 1st, 2025, the Yemeni Ministry of Transport has mandated the ACD procedure for all shipments heading to Yemen ports. The ACD is also known as a CTN, BSC, or BESC. Failure to provide the ACD certificate will result in severe consequences and substantial costs. The ACD must be obtained from the port of loading by shippers, exporters, or freight forwarders. The ACD number must also be listed on the bill of lading.

To obtain the Yemen ACD certificate, the following documents are required:

    • Bill of Lading
    • Commercial Invoice
    • Freight Invoice

To begin the certification process, send PDF versions of the required documents to info@ectnindia.com. Hard copies are not required for ACD certification. Ensure you submit final documents that do not require revisions, as penalties will apply for changes after validation.
